Worry is a Negative Word
“Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Wherefore take up the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; withal taking up the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:”

Kind of scary if you think about it. This world is bad enough without throwing the unknown spiritual into the mix.
But Look at nature! How beautiful and carefree it is. This picture was taken the other day in our front yard. What a blessing to have such beauty right out our window. Let me assure you that I have done nothing at all to deserve such sweet blessings from our Heavenly Father! Yet He Blesses over and over and never ceases to amaze me.
And still I fear life and my future and the unseen. Why? Why would I dare question God? Then I read these verses and again He gives me peace and joy! The kind that only God almighty can give.
This past year has revealed to me what the verse means; “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” Philippians 1:21. I must allow myself to be reminded. I must rest in the Lord! He will bless me, or He will be with me through pain, or He will take me home. It’s a win win situation. Holy is His name! Holy is His Son Jesus! Holy is His Holy Spirit!! What is your revelation today?
