Adoption Blessings

The other day one of our twins decided to be silly and texted our youngest that she was adopted. Haha yes, that old sibling teasing. These siblings however are adults. And the one teasing, of all people, is in the process of adopting his second adopted child. (He has 4 children!) So it made me think about adoption. Then I read this verse listed above. I’m an adopted child of our Holy Father. And while having our own flesh and blood as children is a wonderful and blessed privilege, adoption is a conscious decision to take a life that’s not blood, and make that life part of the family! To be chosen, an outsider taken in as family, wow! That’s love!

So, while the enemy tries to tell us we’re not good enough. Fills us with lies. We know God is truth and His Love for us is stronger than any love we can even imagine! By keeping in prayer with our Holy Father through His son Jesus, being filled with His Holy Spirit, we know we are blessed!!!
