Happy New Year! 2019
“Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.”
Colossians 3:23 NLT

“But if you refuse to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.””
Joshua 24:15 NLT

We have to make choices in everything we do and everyday whether we want to or not. Even if we withdraw from reality and stay away from the overwhelming choices, we are making choices. Even if we choose to be alone, away from reality our choice effects others now and in the future. In fact, thinking about this overwhelms me so much, I sometimes choose to shut down my brain. But that doesn’t stop the consequences, the influences from happening. It actually adds to it, and probably in a way we would rather it didn’t. So instead of making a list of new year resolutions we seem to have a hard time keeping, let’s make a decision of who we live our life for. Who we go to for direction and advise. Then do it at all times in all situations, be in prayer and stay in Gods word. “But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.”
Joshua 24:15 NLT
