Not a victim #8 Knowing who you are In Christ

Psalms 139:14

I will praise You

because I have been remarkably and wonderfully made.

Your works are wonderful,

and I know this very well.

In my last post I mentioned I was going to blog about how to live with a narcissistic personality type, not change them.

First let me clarify here that I am not an expert! God is! He made each of us! He’s the only one who can change any of us. He’s ruler over the physical AND spiritual realms!

With that being said, let me first emphasize the importance of this first step… And the reason I can share this with authority is because it comes from the one in ultimate Authority,  our creator and Heavenly Father! Gods word!

We must Love God! We must accept Him, His son, the Holy Spirit! Without that, all is void.

The second is we must love ourselves. He made us. Accept Gods forgiveness and love and accept who we are.

The third we must love others, as they are. (Let God work on the unloveable stuff)

Matthew 22:37-39 He said to him, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and most important command. The second is like it: Love your neighbor as your self”

Now this all may sound easy, but if you are reading this no matter where you are in your walk of life, you know it’s anything but easy.

In fact, I’ve been in the mindset more times than I can remember, thinking I am stronger now, Thinking I’m Strong enough to…(fill in the blank). The truth is, we on our own will never be strong enough for…(fill in the blank).

Do you know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior?

Please talk to your pastor for questions and concerns. Feel free to comment or dm me as well.

My prayer for all who reads this: To grow closer to our Lord and to seek Him in everything.

Keep in His word! Keep in prayer with Him.
