Mustard seeds

“He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.”

Mathew 17:20-21

Look around us, really look at everything around us. What magnificent beauty! I’ve heard people say God doesn’t perform miracles like He use to. Well I totally disagree! They’re all around us all the time. I think we sometimes take things for granted. We obviously don’t see what goes on behind the scenes. I don’t think we, or at least I, don’t take prayer as seriously as it really is. I’ve personally in my lifetime alone have experienced so many miracles! And those miracles are so small compared to others! At the risk of sounding crazy, I’m convinced miracles are happening that I’m not even aware of! I remember one time, early on in our marriage, when finances were very tough, we had lapsed in our auto insurance. I was in traffic and the car in front of me stopped suddenly. We weren’t going fast at all and nobody would’ve gotten hurt, but the ramifications of not having insurance would’ve been awful. We didn’t hit, and to this day I will say I felt an angel stand in between the cars and hold us back from hitting. This isn’t a unique situation. I have journals full of stuff like this! To have faith like a mustard seed. How small must my faith be. To learn how to fully give my all to God and let the Holy Spirit take total control in every situation is something to strive for. I would love to here about your miracles! About what you’ve seen and experienced. I think it’s important to share and worship with each other in this way. I think it helps our relationship with our Heavenly Father  grow stronger. Have you’ve seen God today?
