It’s amazing how one picture can inspire so much.

When I first saw this picture I thought of our nation and world. So beautiful, yet turmoil touches every nation. Can you see the fear, anger, danger? Can you see past it all and see the beauty?

I know that when God looks on us He sees hate and sin, yet He sees past that and sees the beauty that’s there. He wants to be with us, to dwell with us, yet because of us, He can’t. He loves us so much, He made a way to be with us. He gave His Son to us to bridge the gap of sin. After Jesus rose from the dead, He left His Holy Spirit here to be with us. When we fully grasp this reality, how can we not pray for our leaders, country and world?

I read a comment that I especially like. It said, “We Americans are so set on tearing down one man instead of working together to save our country.” How true is that? No matter what or how you feel about our president, our leaders, we need to pray for them! We need to work with them to bring our Country back to God.

A saying keeps coming to mind, divide and conquer. How true this is. Our enemy knows how to take control and tear us apart.

Let’s fight with prayer. Let’s fight with love!
