As we celebrate Memorial Day, do we really think about why we are celebrating? This special day has been set aside to remember those who gave their lives for our freedom. All three of our sons have served in the military, with one still serving. Ours are still with us, we are very blessed. But so many moms, dads, spouses, children, siblings, friends, have lost their loved ones. Let us remember this Memorial day, who gave their lives for us to have the freedom we enjoy. Let’s pray for the families left behind. Most of all, lets live a life that will honor the reason they gave up their lives.

Let us also remember the ultimate sacrifice for our eternal freedom. The sacrifice our Heavenly Father gave of His only son, Jesus Christ!
