Half Done
“And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”
Phi 1:5
“For it was You who created my inward parts; You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will praise You because I have been remarkably and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful, and I know this very well.”
Psalms 139:13-14 HCSB

Technology has come a long way. And in 2018 I’m sure we’ve only seen the beginning. As with everything since the fallen angels, good can be bad, depending on how it’s used. Yes there’s a lot of bad with technology, but this blog is not about that. In fact this blog would not exist without current day technology. This rambling is about the tool we know as texting. Texting is
another one of those tools that has its benefits and downfalls. Our family uses texting as one of many communication tools to keep in touch. There are 5 of us, ‘families’, and at any given moment we can be scattered across the US and even the world. But with texting it doesn’t matter how far we are. Our texts are fun!! Confusing, and crazy!! Sometimes we have 5 different discussions going on at the same time. What about that auto correct? I think that’s what makes the craziness so fun!! During one of our group text conversations, my husband sent a picture of what he was doing. My daughter responded, half done! My husband then answered (after several other texts had already been going back and forth). “yes Meg, God isn’t finished with the other half yet”. It was so much funnier in the mist of the conversation. However, this funny quip did give me this weeks blog.
In all seriousness, if during your prayer time you feel repetitive, frustrated, alone, and forgotten. Remember our God, our Heavenly Father always finishes! Our Heavenly Father never lies! Our Heavenly Father is Holy! And Awesome! Let’s keep our eye on Christ and rest in the Holy Spirit! And fully give all of our trust to God!
What do you feel like is only half done in your life?
