The reality of it all
“No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead,”

I’m not a psychologist or a counselor. But I know enough to say everything is not as it seems. The reality of it all is that not everything we see or think as real, is real.
Take the picture, what do you think it is? Did you figure it out?
Have you ever thought you have something all figured out only to find out you were totally wrong? This type of thinking can mess with our lives, families, friends, future, everything.
The answer? Ask questions. Listen. Don’t judge. Don’t jump to conclusions. But the best answer, the answer that encompasses all, is keep our eyes on Jesus. Read God’s word. Pray and listen to our Heavenly Father. Sounds so easy, but unfortunately it’s not always easy. We have to make a conscious decision to live this way, not just once, but continually. Is it a coincidence that God tells us to
“pray without ceasing,” 1Thessalonians 5:17?
I use to think ministers, missionaries, Christian giants had it made in this area. God revealed to me, not to be fooled. We are all fragile and subject to the evil in this world. “Pray with out ceasing” and keeping our eyes on Jesus is key! In fact the closer we want to be to our Heavenly Father the more the enemy feels threatened and wants to bring us down.
The reality of it all, keep in prayer always! Keep our eyes on Christ! Listen to the Holy Spirit.
Have you figured out what this picture is? It’s a pine cone. Pray, listen, share.
