Gods Kingdom

When we have children we do everything we can for them. We provide shelter, nourishment, safety, love, everything they need to grow into responsible, strong, respectful adults. During those years we have rules the children need to follow in order for us to protect them. If our children break those rules they step out of our safety net and risk the chance of becoming harmed, or at the very least, uncomfortable. As a loving, caring parent we follow through with the consequences of breaking these rules. As harsh as that might be, the parents consequences of breaking rules are never as severe as the natural consequences would be.

Gods kingdom is perfect. Heaven is Gods kingdom and it’s perfect because God is in charge. There’s no sin, at all. Nobody, nothing is allowed in Heaven that has even a speck of sin. Absolutely nothing! When Lucifer chose to defy God, he was kicked out of Heaven forever. I don’t understand why any of the angles would go with Lucifer, especially since they saw God, spent time with our God and knew His Awe and Holiness, but they did. And where are they? Here on the earth with us. 

God is our God, and is waiting for us. He’s given us rules to protect us. He gave us His Son so we can be with Him forever. He gave us His Holy Spirit to be with us as we are living in the world. He gave us a choice so He knows we choose Him over the enemy. 

We need to keep our eyes open and on God in Heaven and pray for Wisdom and strength to listen and obey our Heavenly Father…Gods will be done!

I’m so thankful for the family God has blessed me with!
