Pray for Each Other

“Now finally, all of you should be like-minded and sympathetic, should love believers, and be compassionate and humble, not paying back evil for evil or insult for insult but, on the contrary, giving a blessing, since you were called for this, so that you can inherit a blessing. For the one who wants to love life and to see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit,”

1 Peter 3:8-10 HCSB

We really need to love each other. If I may be so bold to say, this is what everyone should want, but unfortunately it’s not. Because love is not what everyone wants, it makes it harder to accomplish.

We live in a world where we say we don’t allow bullying, yet it’s all around us, unfortunately more than ever before.

We live in a world where we want our own freedom of speech, yet we disregard others that speak differently than us.

We live in a world that wants equal rights for differences, yet we get angry at those who’s differences are different than ours.

We live in a world that wants respect, yet we refuse to give respect.

We live in a fast self destructive world that blames everyone else, but self.

True love is not just a word. It’s tough. It’s active. It’s impossible without God. True love forgives. True love fights for truth. True love encourages and builds. True love is humble but not a doormat. True love does not condemn nor condone. True love stands strong in challenging situations and strong with people without judging. True Love is not mushy. True Love is highly misunderstood.

In today’s world, it’s harder than ever to live these truths. But by the faith in God, the faith in His Son Jesus Christ who died for each one of us, faith in His Holy Spirit with us today, we can stand strong in His Love.

We need, Gods truth, His Word. We need, worship in song and praise, no matter where we are. We need Christ in our lives.

Not one of us is perfect! If anybody was perfect, we wouldn’t need Jesus. With that in mind, not one of us can judge another. That’s Gods job.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”

Galatians 5:22-23

Today more than ever before we need to pray for each other. We need to pray for our leaders, ALL of them. We need to pray for our country and our world.

Again, we need to pray for each other!
