Truth

Our world seems to be spinning out of control. We don’t know who or what to believe. We can’t tell who is trustworthy and who is not. We hear what we thought was truth being torn apart as false. We are told things that seem comical, in that we think how can anybody believe those lies?! Yet we hear the lies so often we question them ourself.

We are a people full of anxiety, fear and depression. We are taught by public figures to battle these feelings with positive thoughts. We live in a very toxic world that teaches right is wrong and wrong is right and we are so confused! 

In my opinion, the most dangerous thing out there is that all the information given to us does have a portion of truth. A portion of truth deceives even the most faithful, or it can. That’s why it’s so important to be in Gods word and prayer. That’s why it’s so important to be filled with the Holy Spirit and keep our eyes off of ourself. Keep our eyes off of others. Keep our eyes fixed on Christ.

This is not a one time fixes all, it’s a life time constant focus on Christ, filling of the Holy  Spirit. 

Before I go on I want to emphasize what I’m saying here. I don’t want this to be taken out of context or turned into a stumbling block. 

Christ died for us once! God gave us His Son! He left us His Holy Spirit.

So with this being said, let me remind myself as well as all who read this, that we must keep our focus on Christ, God, the Holy Spirit.

God has so many gifts for us! We, Gods children have the Fruit of the Spirit as we rest in Him and give our all to Christ who saves us. We also have  Spiritual gifts that God has given us and wants us to use for His Kingdom. But we must focus On Him! His Word! His Truth!
