Stop and Smell the Almond Blooms!
“In God (I will praise his word), In God have I put my trust, I will not be afraid; What can flesh do unto me?”
Psalms 56:4 ASV

This scripture of the day along with the devotion were perfect examples of our Heavenly Father, how he listens and answers. He is alive!!! My prayer before I started this devotion was, I’m scared Lord. How He comforts. This took place last Monday, the first day of my new job and one year anniversary of my wreck. Either one can be stressful in itself, but the combination is still wearing on me. Jesus has me! He has this!
It’s been a week now, and facing my worse fears, the fog on the rural roads almost every morning last week was quite a challenge. It seems like it’s been a year, but it’s been only a week. I enjoy my work at my new job. And besides the fog, the weather has been beautiful!
This verse is a reminder that I must live daily puting my complete trust in our Awesome Holy Heavenly Father!
The pictures are from my new place of employment. The top is from a week ago, in the fog. The other two are from today. They were all taken the same time of day. Last week they were bare branches. What you can’t see is the wonderful aroma coming from these flowers.
To be in constant prayer with God and to be aware of His presence around us, puts all else in its proper perspective.
Where have you seen God today?
