This year it’s at the tail end of the pandemic. Some places in San Diego were full of people just like the pandemic never happened. But this one day, as we made our way on a mission to find a particular store in Old Town San Diego, we were disappointed that everything was closed. San Diego March Birthday Trip
San Diego March 2020 A fun memorial trip with our San Diego Grand-kids! And we made the trip just in time, right before the COVID-19 Virus Shut Down in California. We stayed at the Quality Inn Suites by Sea World, a Choice Hotel that we are a member of through the Bluegreen Resort Club. We’ve stayed at this hotel several times throughout the past 5 years. This is our second time staying in the room with bunk beds. We had our Sand Diego grandchildren stay for a night, and they loved the bunk beds last year. Thanksgiving Trip 2019
This marks the very first blog in the Nesters choo-choo trip travel blog. Las Vegas Thanksgiving 2019 What a fantastic trip! Full of memories and experiences! Exhausted, yet fulfilled! As grandparents of 7 children, ages 2 to 11 along with a 17-year-old foreign exchange student, and 9 adults, we not only made it work, we all had a terrific time. We stayed at the Bluegreen Club 36 resort with the presidential suite and a standard room next door. The rooms are beautiful with gorgeous views and had everything we needed. The resort is located off the strip, yet close enough to shuttle or walk to the Las Vegas Strip. (We…
